Marketing & Customer Support Intern

Responsibilities:

  • Create campaigns that align with the company's goals
  • Create content for the company's social media platforms (e.g. FB, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok)
  • Monitor social media platforms analytics
  • Answer inquiries from prospective customers and sellers

Qualifications:

  • Course/Program related to Marketing, Communications, Creative Writing, Business (preferred but not required)
  • Growth mindset
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work with multiple teams
  • Experience with handling social media platforms and customer service is a plus

 

Community Management Intern

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the team leading sales, business, and community development initiatives and activities of BookSpine
  • The intern will work closely with the core team to ensure smooth planning, launching, and execution of the upcoming Book Club / Community Program
  • Collaborate with the team for organizing the company’s income-generating activities
  • Facilitate online group sessions for the upcoming Community Program.
  • Research and coordinate with prospective guests and speakers for the company’s activities
  • Conduct administrative, sales, marketing, and/or business-related tasks as needed
  • Work with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

  • Taking up any communication-, marketing-, business-related course
  • Book lover and avid reader (fiction and/or non-fiction)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work with multiple teams
  • Familiarity with organizing virtual events and handling finance is highly desirable
  • Logical thinking and critical thinking skills

 

HR & Admin Intern

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor onboarding and debriefing tasks for team members
  • Assist in processing contracts and in payroll
  • Facilitate the process on team engagements
  • Creating documentations and reports

Qualifications:

  • Course/Program related to Human Resources, Business or Accountancy
  • Good organizational skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized

 

Finance Intern

Responsibilities:

  • Budgeting and tracking of liquidation
  • Creating BIR form 2307
  • Creating reimbursement forms and cash vouchers
  • Creating documentations and reports
  • Assist Accounting Intern in revenues and expenses tracking

Qualifications:

  • Course/Program related to Finance or Accountancy
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles and processes

 

Product Development Intern

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with product development lead in maintaining current technology and developing new features
  • Product and process documentation
  • Agile software development
  • Work with cross-functional teams

Qualifications:

  • Taking up Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology or any computer-related courses
  • Ability to work in teams
  • Familiar with Javascript, PHP, Ruby on Rails or any programming languages
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, OpenCart, etc is an advantage, but not required
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions

     

    User Experience (UX) Intern

    Responsibilities:

    • User research
    • Usability testing
    • Creating mock-ups/wireframes
    • Collaborate with other teams to develop a more user-centered experience

    Qualifications:

    • Taking up any engineering or design-related course (preferably Computer Science, IT, Industrial Design, etc)
    • Willingness to learn new things
    • Growth mindset
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Experience with designing digital products is a plus
